Each lesson is designed to help children build a strong foundation in reading. Every lesson takes around 10β15 minutes and can be repeated over two to three days. These lessons are meant to be done with you β the parent or teacher β and are not intended for independent learning.

We will practice blending sounds to read simple CVC words (consonant-vowel-consonant). We will also practice reading short phrases and sentences, building confidence and fluency as we go.
What We Will Learn: In this unit, we will learn the letters I, N, O, D, C, and U, along with the sounds they spell. We will also learn how to use the high-frequency words a, is and as. We will practice blending sounds to read simple CVC words (consonant-vowel-consonant). We will also practice reading short phrases and sentences, building confidence and fluency as we go.
What We Will Learn: In this unit, we will learn the letters G, B, E, K, H, and R, along with the sounds they spell. We will also learn how to use the high-frequency words said, to and do. We will practice blending sounds to read simple CVC, CVCC, and CCVC words. We will also practice reading short phrases and sentences, building confidence and fluency as we go.
What We Will Learn: In this unit, we will learn the letters L, W, J, Y, X, and V, along with the sounds they spell. We will also learn how to use the high-frequency words of, from and was. We will practice blending sounds to read simple CVC, CVCC, and CCVC words. We will also practice reading short phrases and sentences, building confidence and fluency as we go.
What We Will Learn: In this unit, we will learn the letters Z and Q as well as the digraphs qu, ck, sh, ch, and th, along with the sounds they spell. In addition, we will learn how to read and use the high-frequency words you, are, and have. We will practice blending sounds to read simple words, and we will read short phrases and sentences to build confidence and fluency along the way.
